The Magical Karnataka

Day 1 : Arrival at Mumbai
Fly into the metropolitan city of Mumbai. From there you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : Mumbai Sightseeing
Today is the day when we start with a detailed look into Mumbai. In the morning, we will visit Gateway of India. boat ride to a World Heritage ride - Elephanta Caves and explore some exquisite beaches. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 : Mumbai - Bangalore
Early morning flight to Bangalore, capital of Karnataka. Check into the hotel and get yourself ready for a date with the IT city of India. Here, you visit the famous Bangalore Palace along with grand Vidhana Soudha, Tipu Sultan's Fort and beautiful Cubbon Park. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 : Bangalore - Mysore (127 Km)
Covering the distance of 127 Km in around 4 hrs, we reach Mysore. After checking into the hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5 : Mysore Sightseeing
Wake up to a gorgeous day in Mysore. After delicious breakfast, we proceed for attractions in the city to visit the famous Mysore Palace, St. Philomena's Church, beautiful Brindavan Gardens and Rail museum. We return to our hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6 : Mysore to Hassan (98 Km)
Early morning we leave for Hassan which is around 98 Km from here. Check into the hotel. Later, we take you to a nearby town of Shravanabelagola which is famous for the world's tallest monolithic statue of Lord Bahubali. Overnight stay at Hassan Hotel.
Day 7 : Hassan to Belur (31 Km) - Halebid (17 Km)
Today we plan to explore some of the most magnificent temples in Karnataka. There are three main temples in Belur, most attractive being the Chennakeshava Temple, Halebid and Hoysaleswara Temple. We will be taking a night train to Shimoga which reaches Shimoga early morning.
Day 8: Shimoga To Jog Falls (105 Km)
Directly we take you to your hotel room for some rest. After breakfast, we leave for Jog Falls, after a 3 hr ride we reach the splendid Jog Falls, the highest waterfall in India. Late in the evening we head back to Shimoga for overnight stay.
Day 9: Shimoga to Hospet (174 Km)
Day 9 of the tour is primarily kept aside for traveling. We take a 174 Km road journey to Hospet which will take close to 5 hrs. So we leave early to reach our destination before it becomes the hot. Check into a hotel and rest day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Hospet to Hampi
Probably the most interesting day of the tour as we take you to the most beautiful ruins in India. Today we have a date with the World Heritage Site of Hampi. The most attractive temple among all the wonders is Vithala Temple. It is the most intricately carved temple in entire Karnataka. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Hospet to Badami Caves (103 Km)
After a sumptuous Karnataka breakfast, we drive to Badami, to another highly visited place in Karnataka, the Badami Caves. Check into a resort which is quite near to the caves. Later we head to the magical Badami Caves in the second half of the day. There are four main caves - Caves 1, 2, and 3 are Hindu temples whereas Cave 4 is a Jain pilgrim place. Before night, we are at our resort for overnight stay.
Day 12: Badami to Mumbai
We have come to the end of a splendid tour taking you to the best of Karnataka. Morning, drive back for Mumbai from where you will take a flight for your onward journey.
